Rising Stars: Moana Jr Audition

Ages 7-18

Location: Schauer Arts Center | 147 N. Rural St.

9:00 am-11:00 am (Age 7-11) | 12:00 pm-3:00 pm (Age 12-18)

Tuition: Tuition of $285 is required only if student is cast in the show. Tuition is due Tuesday, November 1, 2022 and includes cast t-shirt, professional instruction, registration fee, and two complimentary tickets for a public performance.

Moana will set sail across the Pacific to save her village onstage in the Rising Stars Production of Moana Jr.!

AUDITION INFORMATION: Audition is free and required for participation. Students must pre-register for audition. An audition packet will be provided electronically to students (ages 12+) that have pre-registered. Packets will be distributed via email 2 weeks prior to the audition. Auditionees younger than 12 years old will not need an audition packet, as no preparation is necessary for younger students.

REHEARSAL INFORMATION: First rehearsal and parent meeting will be Tuesday, October 25 5:00-7:00 pm, where cast/crew will receive detailed schedule information. Generally, rehearsals will run Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30 and alternating Saturdays 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Evening rehearsal times will be extended in December and January.

PERFORMANCES School Matinee Performances: Thursday, January 26 10:00 am & 12:30 pm Public Performances: Friday, January 27 7:00 pm | Saturday, January 28 2:00 pm.

Prior to the audition, please complete and return the 2022-2023 Schauer School of the Arts Waiver electronically via email to Education Coordinator, dani@schauercenter.org. If this isn't convenient for you, you may also bring a hard copy to the box office M-F 12:00-5:00pm, or to the first day of class and give to the instructor.
