Ages Entering Grades 1-12
AUDITION: Monday, August 18, 10:00-12:00 pm. Pre-registration for the audition is recommended. The audition begins promptly at 10:00 am, and no late arrivals are allowed. The group-style audition will last 90-120 minutes and will be facilitated by the Missoula staff members. Students must participate for the full duration. Parents/caregivers are welcome to observe the audition. Casting will be announced immediately following the audition. Auditionees should bring a bag lunch to begin rehearsing that afternoon if they are cast in the show.
WORKSHOP INFORMATION: Every student who auditions is invited to attend our FREE Missoula workshop series! Workshops are scheduled for 2:45– 3:45 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during Missoula’s residency week. It is designed to help students focus on specific elements of theater, such as improv, acting basics, and playwriting. Pre-registration is required for workshops. Sign-ups take place on audition day.

Before the first day of your child's class, please complete and return the 2025-2026 Schauer School of the Arts waiver via email to the Education Director at classes@schauercenter.org. If this isn't convenient, you may bring a hard copy to the box office Monday through Friday, 12:00–5:00 pm or give the waiver form to the instructor on the first day of class. Blank waiver forms will be available for parents to fill out on the first day of class if needed.
