Loretta Lynn. The Most Awarded Lady in Country Music History with more than 60 years of recording and touring. Inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Music Hall of Fame. Recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Winner of four Grammys, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Her life was celebrated in an Oscar-winning film, Coal Miner’s Daughter, which told the story of a fiercely independent woman, born and raised in poverty in a rural Appalachian hamlet with seven brothers and sisters, who rose to become the undisputed Queen of Country Music.
