Where are my seats located?

Can tickets be reprinted or exchanged?
Upon request, lost tickets will be reprinted and placed at Will Call for pick up on the day of the performance. For Schauer Center Presents events, exchanges may be made for any other Schauer Center Presents performance in the CURRENT season for a $3.00 fee per ticket. For Guest Events with multiple performances, exchanges may be made to any other performance of the same event for a $3.00 per ticket fee. Guest Performances with only one performance cannot be exchanged.

What time does the Schauer Center open for a performance?
The Box Office opens one hour prior to all events. The Ruth A. Knoll Theater doors open 30 minutes prior to show time. For Cabaret events held in Pikes Peak, cash bar and seating is available one hour before the performance. Seating starts 30 minutes prior to show time for Tykes in Pikes events.

How long is the performance?
Most Mainstage and Cabaret events are approximately 2 hours in length, including a 20 minute intermission. Family and Tykes shows are usually 60 minutes with no intermission.

Are concessions sold at intermission?
Yes, bar service is available prior to most performances,* as well as during the 20-minute intermission. You can save time and skip the line by pre-ordering your drink for intermission. Please see the bar staff before the show to place and pay for your order, which will be waiting for you in the lobby at the start of intermission.

Can I take my drink in the theater during the performance?
Yes, if the beverage is in a Schauer Arts Center spill-proof cup.  Purchase your cup from the bar or box office.  Only beverages in Schauer cups will be allowed in theater.  No travel cups, fast-food containers, or water bottles will be allowed.  Please do not bring these to the theater.  Purchase of a Schauer Center cup is not required to purchase a beverage, but without a cup, they must be consumed in the lobby areas.

Will the Schauer Center cancel a performance due to weather?
Schauer Center events are only cancelled if performers cannot make it due to weather.  No refunds will be issued to audience members who cannot attend a presented performance.
In the rare case that a show is cancelled, please listen to WTKM (AM 1540 and 104.9 FM), WMDC 98.7 FM, WBKV AM 1470 or watch ABC WISN12, NBC TMJ4, CBS 58 or FOX 6, for up-to-date information about events affected by the weather.  We will also make our best efforts to call and/or email patrons regarding cancellations, when possible.

What assistance is provided for patrons with special needs?
Patrons with special needs should notify the Box Office when tickets are purchased, before the performance. Handicapped parking, wheelchair seating, and other special services will be on a best efforts basis and cannot be guaranteed.  
Hearing assistance listening devices are available on a first come, first serve basis through the Box Office on the day of the performance.  There is no charge to use a listening device, but a a photo ID is required.

Does the Schauer Center offer gift certificates?
Yes. Starting at $5, gift certificates may be purchased in any amount, either in person or over the phone at the Box Office (Monday-Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm and one hour prior to performances) or online anytime with a credit card.  Gift certificates never expire and can be used towards any Schauer Center purchase. 

Can I get a refund on a previous purchase when you offer a Coupon Discount?
If tickets were purchased within three days of the issuance of a Coupon Discount Code, the Schauer, upon request, will refund the difference in ticket price in the form of a gift certificate.

*School Shows, Tykes in Pikes and Family Shows do not usually have a bar/alcohol being served.
