A Father’s Story
Discover how easily teens get groomed online and trapped.
Jordan DeMay was a typical and outgoing 17-year-old. This event will feature a father’s heartbreaking story that impacted an entire family and community.

Keynote speaker John DeMay, former law-enforcement officer and father of Jordan, will describe how his son spent the last few hours of his life going down a dark road in fear, feeling humiliated and alone, and afraid to ask for help.

Along with John DeMay, a panel discussion will include Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) specialists from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

This free event is targeted at teens, parents, and law enforcement/first responders and will offer shareable knowledge to the entire community.
