War Hippies

Friday, September 20

War Hippies, the dynamic country duo Scooter Brown and Donnie Reis, stormed onto the music scene with their debut album, generating hits like “Make It Out Alive” and “The Hangman” while touring with Travis Tritt and Chris Janson. Millions of streams later, they’ve continued to tour and are set to release a much-anticipated new album in 2024. Beyond music, they support fellow veterans and military families through advocacy work and fundraising and help children secure access to musical instruments.

A Day To Support and Honor Our Military Members
Attention active military members and veterans! You can get a discounted ticket at just $20 per person. Buy the ticket in person or over the phone at the box office, and provide your name, branch, and dates of service. Additional tickets will be charged at the full price.

Before the show, there will be a reception 1:30-2:30 pm exclusively for active military members and veterans. Snacks will be provided, and each military attendee will receive a free drink ticket. You may bring one guest. Pre-registration is required due to limited space. Veterans can also receive reduced admission to the Wisconsin Auto Museum before the show. The museum opens at 10:00 am.

Support the Troops of Hartford will collect donations to send care packages to soldiers. If you bring a donation, you will be entered into a raffle to win Schauer Arts Center tickets. We will provide stationery before the show for attendees to write a note of support or you can prepare a card and bring it with you.
Thank you for your service to our country!
