The Hartford Community Chorus presents:
“TO TELL THE OLD, OLD STORY”

Mark Weller is the new artistic director. He has had vast and various musical and educational experiences. A graduate of UW-Madison, Mark has both bachelor and master degrees in music, two master degrees and doctorate degree in education.

He has worked as choral director in Sauk Prairie School District, the Lake Forest Academy in New Orleans, the Waukesha School District and the Atlas Preparatory Academy in Milwaukee.

His performing credits include the UW Opera, Madison Civic Opera, Southern Lakes Opera Companies, Masterworks Chorus in Southern Wisconsin, Milwaukee Choristers, Hartford Community Chorus and presently singing with the Bel Canto Chorus.

The Hartford Community Chorus will present many of the old traditional favorites with new rich arrangements. The music lineup includes: O Come, O Come Emmanuel, Russian Carol, Still The Holiest Night, See Amid The Winter’s Snow, Song Of The Angels, and Silent Night. The selections offer strong choral and solo singing as well as additional instrumentation that brings an element of surprise to the listening audience. This is definitely a family concert that refreshes the soul as it brings glowing smiles to the faces of all.
