The six-time WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) award-winning Squeezettes (2025, 2023, 2017, 2015, 2013, 2012) are noted as one of the state’s most unique attractions. They have been featured on national PBS and NPR programs, are a staple at regional events, and are also seven-time Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee Music winners (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019). Their uber-diverse repertoire breathes fresh life into traditional polkas and waltzes, mashes up vintage pop hits, and unearths random tunes you never thought you’d hear played on accordion and tuba.
Where else but Milwaukee would you find such an undeniably quirky, contagiously fun band fronted by an ex-burlesque chanteuse-turned-old-school torch singer, and a band armed with a big, beautiful, Swarovski-encrusted Baldoni accordion, tuba, and a drummer that can rhythmically charm a beer hall to its foundation?
