School of Dance
The Schauer School of Dance began offering classes in January 2007. This unique program's emphasis is building students' dance abilities through the development of a strong technical foundation. The Schauer School of Dance has one recital each May held in the Ruth A. Knoll Theater. Students also have the opportunity to take master classes with visiting companies that are part of the Schauer Center’s Mainstage Series. Sometimes students have performance opportunities with visiting companies as well.
